Bernina University Recap 2023
   It was my first time in Dallas, TX and only my second Bernina University! I was so excited to see what was new and, of course, Bernina didn't disappoint! My first stop after checking into the hotel was grabbing a couple of pictures celebrating Bernina University 2023. It was definitely #ABIGDAY.   Once the new Bernina B790 Pro features were announced I couldn't wait to try it out. With the new laser, 4 point placement, use of long arm files, auto needle threader, and multi-line text it was easy to see that this machine would be a game changer. I stitched out a new zipper bag using the new features (you can stop by and see the machine and project in the store). It was a fantastic project. Not only did, I get to play on the new machine, I also took a variety of classes throughout the week that covered, projects, merchandising, new embroidery designs, learning new serger techniques, and more. I am already busy implementing some of the ideas and projects into our upcoming curriculum on our Sewists and Makers platform.     There was also a wonderful surprise in store for the Twin Falls Sewing Center... thank you to our fantastic TFSC sewing community, employees, and OESD. Our store received an award for being the #4 dealer of OESD product in the single location category for the entire country. This is an amazing achievement and we are so honored to have won this award. Thank you again! |
