Join us to create a beautiful Stars & Stripes Table Runner—perfect for decorating your table for Memorial Day, the 4th of July, or any patriotic celebration! This three-session class will guide you step-by-step through piecing star and stripe blocks, then finishing your project with assembly, quilting, and binding.

• 4.5 yards of quilting fabric — choose your fabrics at the store before class

• Step-by-step instruction across three class sessions

Important:
Students must cut and prepare fabric before the first class.
Preparation instructions will be provided when fabric is selected.

Class Schedule

Class 1 — Star Block (Block 1)

Learn how to piece the star block, the focal point of the runner.

Class 2 — Stripe Block (Block 2)
 May 14
10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Create the stripe blocks that complete the classic Stars & Stripes design.

Class 3 — Assembly, Quilting & Binding
May 21
 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Finish your runner with assembly, quilting techniques, and binding.

 Materials List

Students should bring:

• Sewing machine in good working order

• Power cord and foot pedal

• Basic sewing supplies

• Ruler (6" x 1" recommended)

• Pins or clips

• Seam ripper

• Fabric marking tool

• Neutral piecing thread

• Bobbins for your machine

• Walking foot (recommended for quilting session)

• Quilting thread

• Binding clips (helpful but optional)
