I purchased some Stabil-Stick Tear-Away and it says on the label "a sticky backed stabilizer that's right for knits and stretch fabrics". I thought that cut-away was for knits and stretch and tear away for woven fabric. Now I am confused. Could you please explain for me?

You are absolutely correct. We do everything we possibly can to try not to make mistakes but this is a mistake on the package printing and I really appreciate your pointing it out to us. (Sometimes "copy and paste" is not such a good idea!) Please use cut away for your knits and stretchy fabrics.
