![]() Hello Emma, I received an embroidery machine for Christmas and it is a Simplicity SE3. This machine has a 4 x 4 field. However, I would like to be able to resize larger designs and also make larger designs with multiple hooping. I do not know the best program to do this with. I have read about several, but I not only want to resize, I want to actually stitch out larger designs. It is very confusing to know exactly which one I need. I would like a program that will automatically recalculate the stitches when I change the size from larger to smaller, etc. Would you please help me sort out the different programs and point me in the right direction? Thank you so much Carrie in Houston In my opinion, I haven't found anything I couldn't do with Explorations Embroidery Software. It is so powerful but so easy to use. Go to http://www.embroideryonline.com/Explorations/Training.aspx and check out the videos. These videos will give you an idea about how Explorations works. You can start with the basic (Classic) and add on some options later if you want to, or you can go with the entire software package and get the Galaxy version. It has all the available features and functions in it. I have several software programs on my computer that I can use, but I go to Explorations first. It will size the designs and change the stitch count as it should. You can also get the feature called Multi-hooping (it is an option for the Classic Version, but will be included in the Galaxy version). The Multi-Hooping feature will automatically add registration marks to tell you where to line up the next hooping. It makes stitching large designs with your 4 x 4 sewing field easy! We still have a couple of openings in our School of Embroidery in September if you'd like to think about that. It would be a great way to learn this software program. We have a great time during the event, and you will meet lots of other embroidery enthusiasts! CLICK HERE to check out the information online. Hope to see you there!
