CLASS POLICIES

  • All classes must be paid for at the time of sign-up.

  • Space will not be reserved for a student unless the class fee has been paid in full.

  • Class fees can be refunded seven days in advance.

  • Store credit toward another class will be granted if student cancels within 3 days of the scheduled class.

  • If the teacher cancels a class, due to lack of participation, all fees will be refunded and the class will try to be rescheduled.

  • Registration confirmation and class supplies will be mailed or emailed to students when payment is received. Class fees can be mailed to:

NOTE: Please pre-register for any class you might be interested in. if a minimum number aren't registered, the class is cancelled 3 days before the date of the class.

If any of you have a request for a specific class or would like to teach one, please let us know. We would love to keep our classroom full and busy.

Fri., Feb. 26 VITUAL BERNINA CLUB “PURSENALITIES”
Time: 1:00 p.m. A couple of great patterns will have you designing your own
handbags to match your life and occasions. Design in large or small sizes and
design handbags with inter-changing handles. A wide variety of cover styles will
make this handbag your favorite as you take it from casual to formal.
Remember, this class is not just for Bernina owners. Anyone can attend. A CD
will be provided for attendees. No charge

March

March 1 BEGINNING SERGER CLASS
Time: 1-3:00 p.m. OR 6:30-8: 30 p.m.
Get to know your serger well. You will be completely comfortable with threading
and checking your tension by the time you leave. Another series will be offered
March 22 and 29 at the same times.
Fee: $10 or free to those who recently purchased a serger from us.

Fri., March 5 ALL ABOUT “ME” (machine embroidery)
Time: 9:00 a.m. or noon “EXPLORE THE WORLD OF FLORALS” Spring
is just around the corner, but we can bring the outdoors inside now by stitching
some beautiful florals on premade “blanks” and other easy to find items to create
some fun projects. We will share tips on how to choose just the right stabilizer
for the design and the fabric.

Sat., March 6 & 13 BEGINNING SEWING
Time: 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., 4 weeks Learn the very basics of sewing tools
and techniques to give you a solid foundation of the art. You will be making a
pillowcase and a nightgown. You will really enjoy the knowledge that Marian has.
Fee: $50. Inst. Marian Davis

Tues., March 9 FREE SEW
Time: 1:00-5:00 p.m. Bring your project, socialize, work, socialize and enjoy
the afternoon. Go with the group to dinner and come back for Embroidery Time.
No charge

Tues., March 9 EMBROIDERY TIME
Time: 6:30-9:00 p.m. We will have some “blanks” for purchase that will be
shown in the “All About ME” webinar on Fri., March 5, if you would like to
replicate one or more of their projects. You do need to bring your own supplies to
class. If you have questions about what you need, we will help you and you can
make purchases.
You may also bring your own embroidery project to work on.
Fee: $5

Thurs., March 18 “I LOVE TO SEW” CLUB “Quick and Easy Table
Runners and Embellishments” (and maybe a few other ideas)
Bea Kilborn will be showing us some quick ideas for table decorating. Remember
your “Sew and Tell”.
Fee: $7 or no charge for Sew Club members

Mon., March 22 & 29 BEGINNING SERGER CLASS

Fri., March 26 VIRTUAL BERNINA CLUB “TRANSFORMATIONS”
Time: 9:00 a.m. OR Noon
Recycling in fashion is smart and chic. You’ll be surprised at what can be made
from previously loved clothing as you create easy styles to match your lifestyle.
Simple sewing techniques with unexpected treatments make this a success for
everyone!

Fri., April 9 ALL ABOUT “ME” (machine embroidery)
Time: 9:00 a.m. OR Noon “APRIL SHOWERS” This class will give you
some good ideas for making shower gifts – for both bridal showers and baby
showers. We’ll have tips on monogramming and customizing gifts for the bride.
We will also look at proper stabilizers to use for baby things. We will explore how
to embroider on hard-to-hoop items such as baby bodysuits. Join us as we create
projects that are sure to become heirloom creations!

Mon., April 12 INTERMEDIATE SERGER
Time: 1-4 p.m. or 6:30-9:30 p.m.
For those of you anxious to increase your serger knowledge, you will want to
continue with this class. You will learn more about roll hems, decorative threads,
and other creative ideas.
Fee: $10 Free for those who recently purchased serger at TFSC.

Thurs., April 15 “I LOVE TO SEW” CLUB “RAGGEDY APPLIQUE”
Time: 10-noon or 7-9 p.m. Nancy Lee will be teaching this fun technique that
can be used for quilting, pillows, on sweatshirts, etc.
No charge for club members, $7 otherwise. Remember your “Sew and Tell”.
