Events, Class Schedule & Information

CLASS POLICIES

All classes must be paid for at the time of sign-up.
Space will not be reserved for a student unless the class fee has been paid in full.
Class fees can be refunded seven days in advance.
Store credit toward another class will be granted if student cancels within 3 days of the scheduled class.
If the teacher cancels a class, due to lack of participation, all fees will be refunded and the class will try to be rescheduled.
Registration confirmation and class supplies will be mailed or emailed to students when payment is received. Class fees can be mailed to:

NOTE: Please pre-register for any class you might be interested in. if a minimum number aren't registered, the class is cancelled 3 days before the date of the class.

If any of you have a request for a specific class or would like to teach one, please let us know. We would love to keep our classroom full and busy.

EVERY Friday FINISH YOUR QUILT PROJECT Time: 1-5 p.m.

Bring your quilting questions and your machine and Kathy will be glad to help you through your situation. Or just come and quilt and enjoy the company.
Class Fee: $5

Tues, May 13 FREE SEW Time: 1-4:30 p.m.

Bring a project to work on and use our space.
EMBROIDERY TIME Time: 6:30-9 p.m.
We will be doing placement on collar corners, cuffs, shirts and monograms on men's white shirt cuffs and handkerchiefs.
Class Fee: $5

Thurs, May 15 "I LOVE TO SEW" CLUB Time: 10 - noon

Dixie McClain will be teaching "Good, Bad, & the Ugly Quilt Borders". Dixie is a well-known quilter throughout the northwest and is sought after for her expertise. We will learn lots from all she has to show us. NOTE!! THERE WILL BE NO NIGHT "SEW CLUB" THIS MONTH!! We will be attending the Desert Sage Quilters Trunk show at the Senior Citizens Center. See store for details.

Fri, May 16 FREE MOTION APPLIQUÉ Time: 7-9 p.m.

RoseAnn will be teaching you how to us silk flowers and sheer fabrics to create beautiful appliqués.

Wed, May 21 CRAZY QUILT SWEATSHIRT FINISH-UP CLASS Time: 9:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Any of you that have not finished your sweatshirt jacket that you started last fall, you will want to take this class to work on your jacket, have it fitted, and learn edge-finishes.

Tues, June 10 "QUILT AS YOU GO TABLE RUNNER" Time: 1:30 - 3:30 p.m.

This fun and very quick Table Runner requires 3 fat quarters plus backing and batting. It is ohhh so cute! You can finish it, or stary until 4:30 or 5 p.m. with the Free Sew class and finish 2 of them. Join us afterward for the Potato Bar and Embroidery Time.

Tues, June 10 FREE SEW Time: 1-4:30 p.m.

EMBROIDERY TIME Time: 6:30-9 p.m.
We will have a Potato Bar between 5:30 and 6:30 p.m. Kathy and Glenda will provide the baked potatoes and would like sign-ups for different toppings. Embroidery class will be "Applequé". You may choose to do POTATO BAGS or if you have another appliqué you have been wanting to do, that would be fine.

Thurs, June 19 "I LOVE TO SEW" CLUB Time: 10 a.m.-noon OR 7-9 p.m.

Ramona Gibson will be teaching us how to make cute and practical stools and tuffets. This would be a simple and fun way to get a start in doing upholstery.

Sat, June 21 HAND EMBROIDERY ON PAPER "CARDS" Time: 1-4 p.m.

Create absolutely gorgeous cards with the techniques that Joyce will be teaching you. This would be a great place to use the 30 wt. Blendables thread or the 30 wt. cotton solid colors by Sulky.
